Wild Sri Lanka

A short, focused wildlife tour built around private jeep safaris in two of Sri Lanka's best-known national parks, Udawalawe for elephants and Yala for leopards and a wider range of wildlife.

Wildlife4 Days / 3 Nights

About this tour

Udawalawe is known for its elephants, which are easy to see in open grassland around a reservoir. Yala, on the south-east coast, is known for one of the world's densest leopard populations, as well as elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles and many bird species.

Wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed. We plan safaris for the best times of day and use experienced park drivers, but animals are wild and every drive is different. Park rules and seasonal closures apply, and we confirm them when planning your dates.

Route: Colombo → Udawalawe → Yala → South Coast

Best for: Wildlife and bird lovers, photographers, and families who want a compact safari tour that can also be added to a longer trip.
