About Mirissa
Boats leave early in the morning from Mirissa harbour for whale watching trips. The season is generally from around November to April, and sightings can't be guaranteed.
Parrot Rock, Coconut Tree Hill and the beach cafés make good places to spend the rest of the day, and nearby Weligama is popular for learning to surf.
