This itinerary moves in a loop: north to the ancient cities, up through Kandy into the hill country, down to the south-east for a safari, then along the south coast back towards Colombo. Distances between stops are kept manageable, with time to rest on the way.

Because it is private, it can be changed easily: add a night here, drop a stop there, or swap a safari for a beach day.

1. Day1

   Arrival

   Meet your driver at the airport and transfer to your first hotel for rest after the flight.

2. Day2

   Sigiriya and Dambulla

   Climb Sigiriya Rock and visit the Dambulla Cave Temple.

3. Day3

   Polonnaruwa and Kandy

   Explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, then continue to Kandy.

4. Day4

   Kandy

   Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and explore Kandy Lake and the town.

5. Day5

   Kandy to Nuwara Eliya

   Drive into the hill country through tea estates and visit a tea factory.

6. Day6

   Nuwara Eliya to Ella

   Take a scenic hill-country train ride and continue to Ella.

7. Day7

   Ella

   Walk to Little Adam's Peak, visit the Nine Arch Bridge and enjoy the hill-country views.

8. Day8

   Ella to Yala

   Descend to the plains and take an afternoon jeep safari in Yala National Park.

9. Day9

   Yala to the south coast

   Take an early morning safari, then drive to the south coast. Visit Galle Fort and relax by the sea.

10. Day10

    Departure

    Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
